Advisory services are led by Takahiko Sugibayashi, President and CEO of Nextramiles, Inc.
Over a career spanning approximately 30 years, he has worked at the intersection of business, technology, organizations and people.
Today, as an active CTO, he remains at the forefront of enterprise transformation.
Drawing on C-suite and management experience gained in the technology industry and global companies, Takahiko serves as a trusted partner in management and organizational transformation, leadership, AI and digital transformation, global business and organizational operations, career development, and the development of next-generation talent.
An External Executive Partner for Better Decisions
The business environment is changing at unprecedented speed.
AI is advancing rapidly.
Digitalization is reshaping industries.
Global competition is intensifying, talent is increasingly scarce, and people’s expectations and values continue to diversify.
In this environment, technology alone is not enough.
Neither is organizational change in isolation.
Leaders must bring business, technology and people together, then make decisions with a clear view of the future.
Yet there are limits to addressing every critical decision from within the organization.
Leaders sometimes need a trusted external partner who can offer relevant experience, an objective perspective and the confidence to challenge assumptions.
Nextramiles does not impose ready-made answers.
We respect the history, culture and strengths that make each organization unique.
Through thoughtful dialogue, we clarify the issues that matter most, explore the best options together and support the decisions required to turn transformation into reality.

Six Reasons Organizations Choose to Work with Takahiko Sugibayashi
A Current CTO’s Firsthand Perspective on Transformation
As a member of the executive team at a major corporation, Takahiko continues to lead through real business challenges spanning corporate and technology strategy, AI and digital transformation, cybersecurity, and organizational change.
His perspective is shaped not only by past experience and emerging trends, but by the day-to-day realities of executive decision-making: balancing competing priorities, making difficult choices, and moving a complex organization forward.
Nearly 30 Years Across Japanese and Global Companies
At NTT, Gap Japan, Coach Japan (now Tapestry Japan), and McDonald’s Japan, Takahiko has built nearly three decades of experience across technology, e-commerce, organizational development, global operations, M&A, and enterprise transformation.
This breadth enables him to bridge perspectives that are often difficult to connect: Japanese and multinational companies, domestic and international operations, and executive leadership and frontline teams.
Connecting Business, Technology, and People to Deliver Results
AI and digital transformation are not goals in themselves.
They are means to create sustainable growth and lasting value for businesses, customers, and people.
Takahiko goes beyond explaining technology.
Drawing on his experience as a CTO, he helps leaders connect technology with business priorities, organizational design, talent, and culture – and turn that alignment into meaningful, measurable outcomes.
Practical Insight Shaped by Success, Uncertainty, and Setbacks
Transformation rarely unfolds exactly as planned.
Takahiko speaks candidly about difficult decisions, initiatives that did not gain traction, and the trial and error involved in leading people across different cultures and values.
By sharing what worked, what did not, and what he learned along the way, he turns abstract ideas into practical lessons that help leaders anticipate obstacles and make better-grounded decisions.
Every Engagement Is Tailored to the Audience – and Designed for Action
Whether working with executives, managers, emerging leaders, early-career professionals, or students, Takahiko tailors the themes, language, examples, and questions to the audience and objective.
The goal is not simply to share knowledge.
It is to help each participant connect the discussion to their own work and organization, decide what needs to change, and identify a practical next step they can take.
A Lasting Commitment to Developing the Next Generation of Business Leaders
In a world of constant change, organizations need people who do not wait for a perfect answer, but think independently, make decisions, and continue to take on new challenges.
Drawing on his own career and leadership journey, Takahiko helps people look beyond established assumptions, broaden their possibilities, and grow into leaders who can move both people and organizations forward.
Advisor and Leadership Experience
Takahiko has extensive experience speaking and facilitating dialogue at corporations, educational institutions and industry associations.
His engagements include executive discussions, university lectures, interactive sessions, and media interviews covering management, CIO and CTO leadership, AI and digital transformation, technology, organizational transformation, leadership, careers and global business.
His work in technology, digital transformation and leadership has also been recognized through awards in Japan and internationally.

As a trusted executive partner, Nextramiles stands with our clients, supports their ambitions and contributes to the sustainable growth of businesses and society.
